Hi all,
Trying to understand all the available paint options available to me could someone help me understand as to be honest I'm a little confused
I see I have three routes.
Each has merit I guess.
Epoxy primer is to be laid.
1. Cellulose top coat, buff and polish, (cellulose clear top coat as a maybe) (safe without airfed mask)
2. Water based acrylic basecoat? Now I'm confused. Is this even available? Is this something that is mixed with hardeners? Are these hardeners the ones that contain ISO?
In this case does that mean these are 2k? Or 1k? What does that mean!?
Acrylic gloss topcoat. Is this 1k or 2k, or can it be either?
Do I need an airfed mask here?
3. Urethane basecoat. Which I guess is always 2k ? Is it just the clear coat that is 2k ? Which of these things has ISO hardeners?
4. 2k direct gloss of block colours? Black, yellow, red etc? Assume this has ISO hardeners? Can this be 1k without ISO?
