Hi,
Been looking at the forum on and off for a while and now that my once trusty Sealey 130XT welder is giving me jip for the second time in 18 months (I don't use it very often!) I think I need another one.
I have seen an Oxford 180 MIG on a well known auction site and wondered what they are like. It looks like it fits the bill but the main thing I need is something reliable that can weld up to about 3mm.
My existing welder basically seems to have stopped giving me the variable wire feed and the variable power setting meaning that it just blobs at the end and builds up before the weld has a chance to transfer, if you get my drift. The welder is about 18 years old (blimey - I had to stop and think back the the Herald 1360 I was supposed to be restoring there!) so there is every chance that I need a new one!
Any advice welcome!!!
