A strange question, I already have an RT110 (brilliant, weld all day and it doesn't get warm, lovely stable arc) and have seen an RT180 locally for not a lot - the 110's hefty enough for what I do, and I'm thinking the 180 would be a good 240-415 autotransformer to build a rotary convertor around, but I'm ignorant as to what its likely KVA rating would be... I have a new (to me) Boy's Big Toy to power which will be a lot simpler to just plug into 415 3-phase than try to convert three motors, supplies for magnetic clutches and brakes to 240 and stick a handful of VFDs on!
Anybody have an idea what the 180 would pull with the wick right up, KVA wise, as that would give me a clue-by-four?
Cheers,
Dave H. (the other one)
