Bought one of these from Aldi before Xmas - with an included selection of accessories, including a fine wood blade which is now blunt.
Toolstation are doing a special offer of a pack of saw blades - fine and coarse, plunge and circular, wood and metal.
They don't fit
The hole in the centre of the mount is slightly too large for the locking mechanism to grip.
The pins around the centre mount fit fine!
So now I either spend £50 + on another multitool, or wait until the saws come back in stock, and hope that Aldi have a set of blades.
Yep.Can you not just pop a large washer under the screw?
Should have gone to Wilkinsons & got a pick & mix bag of washers nuts screws, wing nuts. It's surprising how much that bag will stretch, you've got to get your £2.99 worthYep.
Just been to buy a bag of M10 washers, cos I didn't have any.
Hopefully, that'll fix it.
We use a mains Bosch one and a DeWalt cordless at work, you get very slight vibration off the Bosch but the DeWalt one is newer and even better balanced, plus it's got a variable speed trigger which is really handy when starting the cut.Useful machine, but not something I like to use, as the vibrations cant do your hands any good, mine tingle for ages afterwards.
90 notes naked for my 18v dewalt. Replace it in a shot if it died.We use a mains Bosch one and a DeWalt cordless at work, you get very slight vibration off the Bosch but the DeWalt one is newer and even better balanced, plus it's got a variable speed trigger which is really handy when starting the cut.
Now granted the Aldi/Lidl specials will no doubt be a fraction of the price of either the Bosch or DeWalt but perhaps in this case you do get what you pay for ?

The Dewalt 18V is nice I borrowed one on site and was very impressed, much less vibration and hence more control than my 18V Bosch and with a blade clamp that does not try to take bits out of you hand when you change blades. Top bit of kit.90 notes naked for my 18v dewalt. Replace it in a shot if it died.
My feins the same, anything over a couple minutes forget it as I get numb fingers, hate to use it unless no option.Don't notice it with the 18v dewalt or feins ive owned.only on the eruber/titan style jobbies
Prefer the dewalt over the fein too.
ive had my bosch multitool for at least 8 years and gets used regular apart from a few new leads still going strong
its a pmf180 I don't know if they still; make them. I think it cost £70 at the timeWhich one have you got @brightspark ? I've been looking at Bosch ones
Yep.wot with the multitool
