Hi all
I've been reading this forum for a few weeks and picked up a few useful tips, changing to gas was a good one and changing to a refilable bottle was even better.
I've got a clarke turboweld 100en mig which is about 5 or so years old, when it was bought it was the biggest (amps) i could get that ran of a 13 amp 3 pin plug,
Now all i seem to read about are 120, 160, 180 amp and higher migs, as i will mainly be useing mine for repairs to my landrover (seals ect) do you think this will be o.k or will i need to be looking at a newer machine?.
It's had very little use in the time that i've owned it and works o.k (apart from having to use switches to ajjust voltage insted of a nice dial), i do not want to spend money unless i have to (who does?) so opions please.
