Just dropped in to say hello to everyone, been reading the forum for a while and have seen some interesting threads, my background is in the merchant navy / seismic survey field as an engineer and was at sea most of my life after my apprenticeship, learned the usual as an apprentice gas, stick, self taught mig and tig and proficient enough to earn a living as a welder and have done in the past (although not coded)
Having started a new job recently after much surgery I need to brush up on my tig skills so am about to start a C+G course for ally and am really looking forward to it, so no doubt you more experienced ally welders will be getting some questions in the future.... take it easy all.
Sean.
