Does anyone have any experience of the Oerlikon range of welders? I'm specifically looking at the Citoline 300T and a slim possibility of the Citoline 3500TS. I have seen the name about for a long while but no real feed back about them. I did a search here but again not a huge amount of feed back or seemingly a dedicated thread discussing them.
All comments welcome be it good bad or indifferent, spares and service situation good or bad experiences weaknesses in the plants etc. A local welding supplier seems to have what appear to be a good deal on 4 of the Oerlikon range, but of course that offer is only as good as the welding plant itself.
I'm open to other suggestions of plants in the 300 range that are rugged and reliable in the 1k range, It wont get hard use in the slightest with me, but needs to run when i turn it on. It must have a spot timer and thats about the only criteria. I know people will suggest Portamig but sadly i don't think i can wait that long.
Many thanks in advance.
