Hi,
I have a motorcycle crank case which has a crack in it where a bolt goes through and which has lost a triangular sliver of metal and now leaks oil. It's quite a thin casting and id like to have a go at repairing it with my TIG machine.
However....I have No idea what metal it is or what rods would be suitable but with the vast experience on this forum someone must have tried before........and be able to give me some direction with identifying, preparation, rods and machine settings.
Bike is a KTM if that helps? anything else i've missed?
