Hi Guys, I'm a total novice so I'll say sorry now for any stupid questions I might post.
Quick background: I have a 28 year old Golf GTI I bought last year and recently bought my wife a 21 year old BMW. And due to the nature of these thought it would be very worth my while learning some new skills.
I bought a second hand compressor a little while ago, which I'm yet to put to use as it needs fixing up. I've just ordered a new pressure switch and regulator so hopefully can get it going soon. I also bought a small hobby ARC off the same guy that I'm yet to try out. But understand it's pretty pointless for Auto repairs so perhaps not the best purchase of my life.
I've also just signed up on a 10 week evening course at the local college for Vehicle restoration, so hoping to gain as much as I can form that in the short space of time. Only one week done so far and that touched on Panel beating - which was great fun, it's going to be a bit of a whirl wind to cover everything but start on welding next week and working towards paint and finishing by the end of the course.
Anyway, that's me.
