Hey guys,
New to the forum, I have a Migmate 150 (obtained in bad condition from Ebay), just wondering if I should add as much capacitance as possible to my welder to smooth out the welding current/voltage? I work in an electronics recycling plant so can get virtually for free any capacitors I require. I stripped the paint off the welder due to it rusting and have repainted it with oil based paint however it has taken an age to harden. Trying to get the electronics sorted out and wondering if more capacitance (a smoother voltage/current) would make welding easier)?
Cheers,
Jono
