just to note you only need 2 hinges as that third one might become a pain
have you remembered to put in the baffle plate to save the heat going straight up the chimney
for my first projects it was welding a steel door and a rocket stove build
baffle plate roughly about 1 1/2" from below sides of gas bottle
you should have about 2" from top of gas bottle the door should be below this about 4"-5" from top of the gas bottle this saves your face getting full heat at it and smoke goes up the chimney
all the baffle plate does is stop all the heat going up the chimney
the other thing you could do is make your door way square for a better seal on the door by using angle iron and flattening the gas bottle cut off I prefer the fire look so will use fireglass in mine
other advantages to baffle plate is you can use secondary air for a third more fuel saving
Don't think I'd be capable of welding something inside a gasbottle just yet.
depends on which way you want to build it simple way is a plate just before flue exit
red is the baffle plate, blue is the door

or do more work splitting it therefore keeping the heat longer inside the wood stove before exit to the flue
as long as you keep the flow around equal per chamber it will work fine restrict it and you have problems
secondary air can be used below the baffle plate within 1" box section as well in the other 2 design
