Last week I spotted an empty 19kg propane cylinder that had been flytipped so decided to take it to have a go at making a wood burner
First time I've made anything like this, we'll see how it goes!!
Cut the top of the handle off, will make some kind of pot stand out of the remaining stub, and top doors marked:
Top doors hinges welded on and cut out:
Bottom door:
Handles made for the doors, there is a hole in them so you can slip a rod through them if you want to hold them shut:
Carrying handles (one either side)
Cutting holes for the chimney(s)
Unfortunatly the only metal tube I have is an old whirly-gig pole! It is only about 40mm round so I'm making 3 small chimneys, which will hopefully let enough smoke pass through
And this is the chimneys welded on, not a great photo:
