Some of you already know that I am retired and now play on a railway in Wales at weekends which is where I get the welding and machining buzz from. Quite recently I've been looking for a new interest that combines some of the skills I already have with something that I am interested in, to wit, musical intruments.
Here's the first one, it's an Applachian Mountain Dulcimer, American Cherry body and a Walnut fingerboard, now all I gotta do is learn how to play the durned thang
Next project, a hammered dulcimer, lots more strings and much, much, bigger and louder
Hope you don't mind me sharing this with some of me old mates here - ta
