W.olly....I thought you'd have a trade supply deal for the epoxy? You should speak with your local fibreglass fabricators to see if you could just buy it in bulk as I reckon might be a lot cheaper.
Hi W.olly...I was just thinking that if you knew someone you might be able to get the materials cheaper. Geez thats quite a bit of a difference for the epoxy isn't it. So is the plan to fix all the major issues, get it all smooth and then go over the whole bottom of the boat with a fresh layer?
Making good progress now, starting to see your work come to fruition, looking good well done
What a week it has been with work not going to plan to get home early enough to get bits done and then the weather this weekend not being kind.
As it goes though i got some done and happy with it all.
First off i got on with the galley cupboard/s and is ready for the laminate once we go and choose which we want, not going to be easy as there are hundreds of patterns to chose from, Oh yes, as i am typing i just remembered that i need to work out the fuse sizes i need and that i also need to measure up for the stainless steel for the over surround and splash back.
Always something i forget to do.
A few days ago the rest of the electrical gubbins arrived, all done now but for choosing the lights.......i think.

That is about it for the electrics, good enough, could be a bit tidier but then i am no sparky.
Next episode should be the laminate for the galley and splash back for the cooker along with doors.
That i am looking forward to doing and seeing
only any good if u double back the cable 2x 2.5mm =5mmWhat size wires are going to the R/H side of the fuse block?, they don't look big enough to use Yellow crimps (4-6mm² cable size), just checking in case you have a loose crimp which could get hot
You can buy readymade turned finger hole trims for a reasonable price.During the week i changed the hinges on the cupboards to flush hinges, didnt like the surface ones i first fitted, The handle are now finger hole as i couldnt find any handles that i lied and i didnt want the type that stuck out.
Plan is to get some hardwood knobs and drill them out and make grommets for the finger holes to trim them off nicely.
