ok picked up a mounfield sp474 mower apon picking up was told its for spares repair and cost to me was free so hay ho
got it home had a look over it seams to be in more of sorry state than it looks the deak had a hole in it as rusted through took the carb off cleaned it pulled and choked to life just about
fixed the hole in the deak (by welding actualy more like piggen poo very badly but its solid but shows the deaks not much cop but if it lasts for a year or 2 it might help a mate out)
its a powered mower but the cable is shot the cable holder is snaped i got a bracket made up so i can use the dead man switch but is going to cost £25 for the bracket and new cable holder and in the state its in it not worth it so i want to remove the powered part as to lighten it up and to remove the ratchet system so its easy to pull back as well as forward
any one ever removed one i know cut the belt but its the gears and ratchet system that im more worried about
