probably to fast and the gearbox wasnt designed for high torque aplicationI have been given a 110v mixer moter and reduction box would this be strong enough to use for a motorised rolling machine?if not what else could i use it for,any ideas i would be greatfull cheers.kev.
not on the belle mixer. the drum is conected direct on to the gearbox bolted to the frame the type u mean has a gear ring round the drum and driven of a small cogJust my thoughts here. Doesn't the motor drive the mixer with a large ring on the mixer drum itself? I Have a powered roller and know the torque it takes which is quite a bit plus you need lower speed plus torque on the rolls...Bob
I've got one of those It had been scrapped when I got it and that was 30yrs ago I fitted an electric motor instead of the old petrol its been use by everybody round here, has stood outside for all that time, and it still is good and solidthe type u mean has a gear ring round the drum and driven of a small cog
