Yeh got to be looked intoI was going to go the mist route but was seriously dissuaded by the idea of breathing in atomised coolant.

yeh I watch Keith Rucker will be watching him later regarding tramming the mill mine is a shade out I also like watching Abom79 thats where i first saw the mist idea I like the idea hopefully can sort something out even making up some sort of fan in the direction of the mist or spray.I thought it would be good as it would make less mess. I've seen Keith Rucker and Adam Booth using it. I think it's ok if you have a big spacious shop with lots of room/ventilation but I don't.
Make it even cheaper so long as your not cutting upside down .I did exactly the same for my Chester mill some years ago.
sorry only just seen this I use water, veg oil and washing up liguidSpill the beans Mr Chef, how do you make it ?
I use this stuff, its nearly empty so will replace it unless the home grown variety is any good

for those who don't want or use a 5 gallon diy mix, try this
250ml washing up liquid mixed with some hot water into 5litre empty engine oil container
add 330ml mineral engine oil, top up with water to 5litre, agitate vigorously.
If anything, go easy on the soap, you can always add a little dribble if it's not emulsifying as you'd expect.
If anyone tries this with a full or semi synthetic, please post your review.
just spotted 123hotchef post above, I might try a batch with veg oil, any known issues substituting veg oil in the mix?
