Now I know I have other projects like the boat ( priority ) then actually build the workshop and fettle the house house ( long term that one ).
But I have this Mitis FTO 2.0V6 non Mivec. It is doing my head what to do with it, it needs welding and brakes overall and now the alternator is seized after not running it for a few weeks. There not worth much which is a shame for these cars as they are dam good cars but a bitch to work on at times.
I very much like the car and runs sweet and quite after I did the lifters a while ago but no real need for another daily car as the reason it has been sat for about 6 month now and i would like the space back as T is after me fixing her a mini up over time yes another project lol.
One idea I have is to remove the engine and any other bits I could use if i ever get to build another 4x4 off roader or kit car or the likes.
Question
Is there any RWD gear box`s that i can join up with the FTO engine with out to much work?
Any adaptor plates/bell housings etc maybe?
Be a shame to break it but after being offered not more than £200 for it i would rahter see about keeping the engine and bits for the future if its worth it.
