Thanks to the help people on this forum I was able to get a great new TIG welder so now require some suggestions for mig upgrade also.
I currently have a migatronic 335 with separate wire feed (digital) 3ph, fantastic machine but it's huge and tbh I maybe only ever us 250amps max, also it can't take 0.6 wire when doing 18/20g.
What I would ideally like is a inverter type machine, something that is single phase if possible and much smaller then the beast I have now, but quality is top of my list.
Budget is around £2000. I had a quick look, saw a thermal arc 252i and some Miller welders, but not looked too hard at this point.
Be interested to know what my current mig is worth, I paid £1500 for it about 7 or so years ago.
Will post the image of the mig very shortly.
