The new saw works a treat. Can't believe the difference - cut through it all like butter.
Yeah they are noisy but when I turned up on site with a hacksaw and a load of unistrut to cut was I glad to see they had one in the workshop!!Horrible noisy messy things!
I've been there and done that, it was a revolation. These days I try to measure up accuratly on the site survey and get as much as possible cut to length off site originally with a Rage but use a band saw now.Yeah they are noisy but when I turned up on site with a hacksaw and a load of unistrut to cut was I glad to see they had one in the workshop!!
Just need to figure out how to lift the back of the car up now to put them under.
Do the same as one of my neighnours, organise a few mates to come round and lift it on, we got his Stag bodyshell onto one of those spit roast frame things like that.
Thanks. When you say level do you mean side to side or front back? For the front I've chocked the wheels and it's still in gear - plan is probably to jack the front onto a pair of ramps once the back is mounted. The front end is still completely in tact - I started at the back about 7 years ago...lgreat welding work and a nicely designed project. Will you have to deal with the car not being level when you lift the back?
