I'm thinking about re-designing my welding trolley to remove the gas bottles from the back to save me lugging them about inside the shed.
Outline plan is to relocate the bottles [fix them to the wall] then extend the hose by fitting snap connectors in conjunction with a length of suitable hose, so that I can reconnect once the trolley is in position. That way I could relocate the rear castors and shorten the trolley, thus taking up no more space when 'parked'.
Been browsing the 'Bay of All Things and found these of which I'd buy a couple of pairs [one for ArgoShield, the other pure Argon], thus reducing cost of additional hoses with connectors attached as came from R-Tech when I bought the welder.

Can anyone confirm they'd be gas tight, or suggest a supplier of suitable connectors [in a similar price range ] in the UK?
Appreciate your help as always.
Edit: Just realised I'd only need one pair....doh!!
