That's a point and a half. Are spot welding attachments available to buy for the buzz box?Looks good especially for small DIY tasks given the cost of handheld units. I wonder if a buzz box could be used to power the welder?
Hi Guys
As a VERY lucky owner of one of these http://www.tecna.net/index.php?opti...-car-body-repair-equipment&Itemid=128&lang=en
(single phase)
I can advise that things can not be built on the small size.
The tips and arms get very hot very quickly.
the long copper leads from the station to the hand held end get hot,
any metal object that is sitting on the floor gets drawn in to these leads by the currant as you use it.
These are a serious bit of kit, and thats what is needed
the hand held jobs get bad reviews, maybe theres a good reason for that!!!!
As a fun thing to do if you have the time, go for it, but if its good quality spot welds you NEED, then I might advise you look for a good second hand unit.
