First test: 3F (Vertical T Fillet)
Bolher EV50 3.2mm x 350mm 120A
A rod I haven’t had much experience with but pleasantly surprised it’s a nice rod. Fairly thin fluid slag for a 7018-1.
A greyer flux than usually found on basic rods, almost blue tinted.
Cut a square edge on this 15mm S275 with the oxyacetylene then ground both plates with a 9”.
More fluid slag than Lincoln and Esab counterparts. Very easy slag release. Crisp and fairly fierce arc.
