Hi guys, new around here as you can tell.
I have had a good read through previous posts and it seems the Clarke series of welders are the ones to go for.
I was looking on MachineMart and frankly there are far too many of them to choose from.
I would like the welder capable of welding thin bodywork and also 3-4mm chassis sections. From reading the guides it seems I am looking for a welder capable of 30 - (atleast) 150 amps. With a non-live feed, which takes gas (for easier welding)
My budget would be from £200 - under £400 really. I can see the welder getting used regularly due to the rubbish cars I always buy!!
Your help on this is very much appreciated. This will be my first welder and it would be nice to buy the right thing first time for once
