mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm shiny welder.
After a month of welding I started to realise that there is something wrong with the machine, I didn't want to act rashly because I have no experience so I asked a friend (experienced weldor) to take a look. He confirmed my suspictions, I called the dealer yesterday and told them about the issue. I came across a faulty machine, the weld doesn't seem to penetrate but it builds itself while welding. The joints look like tall warms. Still, the wire speed is too fast and when I try to reduce it the arc breaks. They said it is abnormal and the machine must be taken back for service....
what a damn drag...
What is the knob just to the left of the euro connector? That wouldn't be inductance or arc control would it?
On my Lincoln R3S-400, if the arc force was turned down it had similar results.
Hi Mate,
Bit of a pisser huh........It sounds like there is a phase down, so the machine is only welding on 2 phases.............if you are running it on 3-phase, but can you also use that machine on 1 phase 230v?
