Having seen on many forums, problems obtaining camloc contact tips for Lincoln MIG welders and although the gas diffuser is Bernard 8611 , finding the right tips to fit this is a nightmare.
The problem is now solved with nothing more than removing the original torch by unscrewing the thumbscrew, pulling trigger cables out and withdraw the end of the torch from the socket.
My "Lincoln euro stud'" was made by my work mate (Being a turner) is simply a brass bar machined to fit the socket, a groove for the thumbscrew to lock into place, centrally drilled hole for MIG wire
The end of the brass bar turned down to size and threaded, to fit into euro socket . Trigger cables ,gas tube fed through the existing casing connecting with small diameter barbed connection. Cable crimps fitted and reattached. Plug brass round bar into socket and secure the thumbscrew into the machined groove. The assembly is so sucure that no "panel mounting" is required .
The original torch is as /was and no alterations to welder casing... perfect out come.
