Welcome.
Any pics of your Tig work mr bond
I have one and it's very useful in certain case scenarios. Are those TIG fingers worth investing
I have one and it's very useful in certain case scenarios.
I don't use it that often but when welding aluminium in a situation where you need to prop a steady hand on the job it's a great tool. Alu as you know conducts heat so quick that even the thickest tig gloves won't last seconds if in contact with the job. I won't use it for the sake of it though. Going round a tube a finger sliding round the job makes life a little more comfortable.
One thing I will say with regards the Tig Finger, get the real deal. I originally bought one, think a Weldas one, and it wasn't that great. Like Richard I didn't use it all the time but for Alu it was half decent. I lost it somehow, must have shovelled it out with some junk a while back. Anyway decided I would get another but bought the real deal and what a difference, much thicker and slides much nicer and not that much more expensive.
and eventually will find a happy medium
Who?Doris Stokes was a happy medium, but she's been dead for nearly 30 years.......
Who?
Man I thought I was old, you must be even older
