Guys,
I've got a couple of bench vices that I use all the time and really like. They have 4 and 5" wide jaws respectively and are pretty compact which is handy as they take little space on the bench.
Recently I've come across a really large vice with 7" jaws which I thought would be perfect for those odd jobs where I need to clamp something rather bulky. So I bought it and brought it to my place. Just to realise that it's way too big to mount anywhere! It's over 25" long and opens more than 10". Nice, strong vice but at the same time difficult to mount as it weighs nearly 100kg. Yeah, a pretty large vice.
Anyway, the question really is:
Do I mount it and where (needs lots of room) or do I just pass it to the next person?
Thanks.
