Well I have finally pulled the trigger on 2 new galvanised front doors for my TD5 Defender, its a 2003 model with electric windows and central locking.
The old doors have rust holes and scabs appearing on the skin, so new ones will be galvanized, etched, primed and painted Epsom Green. Will be supplied by https://www.ab4x4scleveland.co.uk/galvanised-parts/
So I will have to transfer all the parts from the old doors into the new ones, it all currently works.
Anyone done this and suggest what parts to replace, am thinking all the rubbers, window slider channels and possibly central locking actuators as they are getting a bit tired?
