Hi guys
Today I connected jumps leads incorrectly to the battery on the mower (but correctly to the car with the good battery) and now the dashboard on the mower is dead.
What am I most likely to have damaged with the wrong connection? (black jump lead was on the +VE terminal and red jump lead was on the -VE)
The machine doesn't have a lot of electrics but it has a small 'magic-box' of resistors and stuff bolted to the chassis-rail. the parts-list shows it also has 3 fuses and a regulator (for the charging system I guess).
I took the magic box off and could't see and burnt of blown components in it.
The cables were only on for a short time and machine wasn't started
