Hi Guys,
Is it possible to joing two pieces of brass without the application of heat?
I've got a hydraulic cylinder which has started to leak, and I'd like to fix it
The cylinder is made of brass, and has a rolled end-cap
Hydraulic fluid has escaped past the internal rubber seal and is now making it's way out of the rolled end-cap (albeit very minor)
Is there any way I can join the brass cylinder's main body to the end-cap without causing damage to the internal rubber seal, or disturbing the hydraulic fluid?
Should I permanently fuse the metals, or should I use some form of sealant?
