Hi all, my first mode of transport without asking my parents for a lift and getting all the accociated questions!
it's a 1999 Vreg Jincheng JC50 Q8 - a direct copy of a honda magna 50cc 4 stroke and it's only covered 7,639 miles in it's 12 years
when i first got it home i made a list of bits i need, things to do first and what needs stripping and fixing ect...
so i spent a weekend striping and degreasing bits as i went along and after 3 tubes of autosol and a bin bag of my familie's old tshirts all the chrome is looking top of the range, the original colour is a horrible light "metallic" green so after blasting the frame and priming that is now in black gloss and looking super same with the swingarm and sidestand ect.
the ncomes the job of labeling the wiring loom up which took an afternoon, and that morning 3 of my fingers got draged into a disc sander at school and i now only have 7 nails!!!
that aside the forks front wheel rear wheel engine and anything that is bare metal was polished to within an inch of it's life
all the plastic wrapping from the loom has been removed and replaced with heatshrink and black tape
all the plastic panels have been sanded back with fine wet and dry and are all in primer bar the rear mudguard and the tank has now been Nitromorsed' and will be in primer once i've finished skimming the filler.
all the bike is now mechanically sound and i am finishing up any loose ends then i will begin to reassemble stuff like the brakes and the wheels and get the new boots on and in the meantime, when it's cold i can get on with minor jobs in my room cause' it's so blooomin cold
i will update with more pics whenever i remember to get the camera outside with me
