Well today i went on a mig welding course for work, iv been self taught and from reading here and other websites.
Iv managed to bag a job recently as a fabricator welder but with no qualifitions just from a 2 day trial with them (all my qualifications are in IT).
I didnt feel i gained alot today apart from getting better (not perfecting) uphill welding, however we were only welding thicker metals 3mm upto 6mm
my fillet weld still needs work as i cant seem to "blend them" but thought id ask your guys opinions on all of them..bench work is alot easier than laid on your back etc i know this
