Hi All
I'm in the middle of refurbishing my old Myford prior to sale, it will be fitted with an original 3-phase Myford motor which was a refurbished unit I bought several years ago as a spare. I initially thought it was destined for ebay because it only had three wires visible but I've managed to fish out the remaining three wires from inside so it can be wired for the VFD
The Myford was originally fitted with a IMO Cub VFD which is sooooo easy to set up but this is now fitted to my "new" Boxford...I've bought a second hand VFD to go with the Myford, a Telemecanique Altivar 11 (M2).
Manual - http://prom-electric.ru/media/atv11.pdf
The manual for this box is very technical compared to the Cub but I've been trying to programme the unit this evening and some of it made sense, although a couple of functions didn't!
To add another complication, the pendant control for the Myford was a pain with the previous inverter...everything worked (reverse was odd!) but it didn't follow any of the wiring instructions in the Cub manual!
It has the following buttons - RUN - STOP - FWD/REV and a pot. The pot wiring is easy enough but I'm really unsure about the switches (ON and NC) and there isn't a relay (my new pendant has a relay).
Anyone fancy the challenge of supporting me through it...?
