Been out for a few pints tonight. I am in the ebay danger zone of bidding when I'm not in complete control .
Must remember ::
No room
No money
No life if I buy it (wife would kill me)
Apart from not knowing I NEEDED one of these before this thread came up, I can now see all sorts of uses for it. In fact I can't understand how I have I managed without one for so long??
It's really too far away from me - but.... if I did decide to make a cheeky bid, and happened to be successful, how would one go about loading it onto a flat bed trailer (Ifor Williams height).
Engine crane is probably no good, as can't get the front legs underneath it. You strike me as ingenious fellows - any ideas please?
[QUOTE="Windy Miller, post: 1143428, member: 1 I still can't figure out what it's for!
How does it work?[/QUOTE]
Well, if we told you that - you'd need one too
Basically, it's a lathe, but with the additional use of a horizontal milling cutter bar/holder (Which I couldn't see in the sales pictures), held between the chuck and the tailstock, it an be used as a horizontal mill as well. At least that's what I think it does.....
