This weeks job, design manufacture and fit an infeed tray for a meat injector, the tray will be fed by a tipper that is wider than the injector bed so I had to funnel it down.
The tray is made from 2mm stainless, because of the shape of it the sides are welded on, fully welded inside and out
Customer asked for a roller bed to make feeding easier, its fed by hand, the machine has a walking bed which promotes the meat through the injector so the operators just orientate then push the product using the rollers on to the bed, the machine does the rest.
The roller tracks are removable for cleaning, but would be to heavy all in one piece, splitting it makes it easier to have two different widths as well, just needs a triangle each side to fill in the gap where it narrows.
