Which sensor did you use? Also put a lorawan distance sensor

That could be the simplest answer - humidity was just down in the area!
Edit: Hold the front page! Of course, I have two of these sensors and the other is in my home office:
So it's just that humidity in the area was down, nothing to do with the garage door being open
As you were, folks, nothing to see here!
Careful, you'll upset a little Danish girl....All together now:

I was looking for a tank level sensor but couldn't find anything battery controlled, I hadn't seen the lorowan stuff before, this is all new to me.I put a Shelley on my boiler controls but it’s a basic hot or radiator type.
Also put a lorawan distance sensor on the oil tank to replace the watchman after it died so know I know the fill level to the mm and can watch it go down.

The RH in my house seems to stay mid 60s all the time which I don’t think is great but other than run a dehumidifier constantly I don’t know what I I can do about it.
Well, ironically, I was in the garage making a cabinet that will house all of the stuff that gathers this data and then runs the home automation stuff.^^^ This.
Stop looking at those graphs and get your *rse back in the shop and start making swarf.

Wait... maybe because I had my garage door open, that caused humidity in the outer Edinburgh district to go down...?
You do, unless you’re lucky and there’s already a public gateway nearby. so everyone within about 5km of me is covered now by mineI was looking for a tank level sensor but couldn't find anything battery controlled, I hadn't seen the lorowan stuff before, this is all new to me.
Did you need to add a separate lorowan hub or similar to get it to speak to HA?
I concur, I have two heating oil tanks and one red diesel tank….how doI manage with out all this technology…..ohyea I use a dip stick. No electronics, no software, works inna power cut and without batteries. You guys have far too much time on your hands to be monitoring then analyzing data
I’m not sure anyone here is in a position to throw stones in the ‘why do you need that?’ Stakes.I concur, I have two heating oil tanks and one red diesel tank….how doI manage with out all this technology…..ohyea I use a dip stick. Home auto automation…..why!
Fair point, I have all of the above, but they are necessary honest…oh you missed of diggers tooI’m not sure anyone here is in a position to throw stones in the ‘why do you need that?’ Stakes.
Welders, lathes, motorbikes, tractors, old cars. None of them are strictly necessary a lot of the time but it’s an interest all the same.
Sounds like my level of sophisticationI concur, I have two heating oil tanks and one red diesel tank….how doI manage with out all this technology…..ohyea I use a dip stick. No electronics, no software, works inna power cut and without batteries.
