Not saying it couldn't be done, just unlikely to be an approved method.
In my experience, heavy industry, gas plant terminals etc, cables that big would most likely be direct buried and only in sleeves coming up from the trench to the unit, but again if you're pulling cables in with ropes round tracks of diggers, clearly we're in different industries, but like I said, if you're happy with that, or the HSE officer accepts using a digger track as a winch, crack on..
Actually I think you will find that large electric is now common place to use ducting nowadays. As said you can use cable winches aswell, although you will probably claim they are an invention of Google aswell as there can't possibly be a use for them if you are right.
