Still got this problem, can't find a modern drum to machine that will allow for the shape of the original wheels.
Just for info, repro ones are available from USA, probably at least £1,000 by the time they get here!
Thinking of getting mild steel rings rolled and welded, is there a TIG wire that would produce a good join that would machine the same as ms?
I'm thinking that the join and HAS could cause a friction problem, maybe MIG for the ring to the hub join.
