Hi i bought a siegen 180 amp mig welder a couple of months ago brand new and have only managed to get about ten minutes welding done because it keeps birds nesting between the roller and torch guide. I took it back to the shop and they noticed the guide after the roller was pushed in so they pulled it out and i thought all my problems were answered. I took it back home and tried again but the guide just kept going back in, it was very loose so i superglued it to make it stay out. I then started welding again but it still birds nested so I don't have a clue what the problem is? When I watch the wire it goes through straight then starts to twist round a bit like a skipping rope and thats when it tangles. Is there a simple explanation? I don't want to have to take it back again as i can only get to the shop on a saturday and i'm trying to restore my Austin A35 with very limited spare time. Many thanks in advance. Dave.
