Hello boys and girls
Just a quick intro..
I live in London and up until recently I used to do a lot of diving.
I first 'learned' to MIG weld at the age of about 10 in my dad's bike breakers, but never really did much more until recently.
I had just put a load of new tools into my garage so though a set of grilles for the windows would be a good idea.
Quick scoot on ebay and I picked up a fully functioning MIG for £75.
Well, after lots of swearing, pigeon **** welds, quite a bit of grinding and wishing I had used SHS for everything, rather than trying to join small bars to SHS I eventually ended up with a set of strong window grilles.
Only thing is, when in the garage it is like being in a prison, with bars on the windows....
That's about it really, although the car has just failed the MOT on the sills, so the MIG is coming back out next weekend, and at some point I have a load of stainless tubing to weld up into an exhaust system for a bike I am doing.
Cheers
Sean
