On the lookout for a decent rivnut inserter. Long handle type. Up to around M10. Not one that breaks after the 5th one. Anyone recommend any decent makes?
I'm very happy with this unit. Handles rivets up to 1/4" alloy+steel and nut inserts from M4 to M10. I haven't used M10 inserts yet, but M8 was an easy job.
They run for about 60 to 70 GBP on ebay. I guess they're made in China, nevertheless I've found no reason to complain, fit & finish are very good and - to my amazement - even those stamped spanners fit precisely.
Bought a set today. Big long handled afair. Closed-up 20+ M12 steel nutserts in the shop to give it a good test. On offer at £125 with a load of inserts thrown in for nowt. Should have been £250. Seems a good tool. Forgotten the name - i'll look tomorrow. Bought from a reputable engineers merchants - they don't sell crap.
Thanks for the pictures/info fellas.
