Hi,
I've just bought a secondhand sip cosmo 100 gasless welder for a small job on my car. I've had a quick play about with it and was surprised to find that the feed wire seems to be live at all times, pulling the trigger on the torch just feeds the wire. Is this correct or is there a problem with it? I only paid £40 for it so wasn't expecting much but thought it would at least have this basic feature? Anyone know if this is right , or could someone point me in the direction of the user instructions for this model.
Also the wire is sticking slightly in the feed tube, the tip etc is clear, can I use wd40 or something similar to free it up or will this cause problems with the weld?
Any advice would be great, Simon.
