I use a 12" SIP cast iron framed Horiz. band saw,,,gradually getting out of square cuts......
2--2,1/2mm on a 50x50mm box section.....this is top to bottom........
blade cuts well, nothing loose or been knocked, no loose bearings........!!!!!!!
so that was my last blade, decided to get the Vari tooth, cobalt M4 blade....3/4"x90", about £22......
new blade and the machine cuts square again......
bit worried about the courseness of the blade teeth in the course part (I just worry) but it certainly chomps thru metal now.......scarilly quick on 50x50mmx3mm angle and quite noisy......machine is always on slow speed, with coolant.....at 70 life is not a race anymore.........hahaha........
there prob a toff out there that know's why the inner teeth wear just enought to get the blade outta plonk....... and in case u ask on my machine the teeth just miss the wheels.....
over n out.....Frank
