That's why I never use a ratchet to "crack" a nut, breaker bar first, then the ratchet to remove it.
The crack bars aren't covered by the guarantee either (as I have complained about before).

Same set here, make sure you torque up something and undo a few times with the 3/8 ratchet as they are known to jam and some branches will only replace within 30 days of purchase as they class it as a moving part and therefore not under lifetime guarantee. My local has drawer full recon ones they swap out.
Re the torx, teng tools ones have served me well but were bought years ago so no doubt quality has dropped since on the new stock.
I might get the professional tool cabinet and chest set while they are still on offer!James
