That’s up to him and yes he’s very good at what he does.
Other than the razer blades that’s all aluminium and ac is a little more forgiving on tungsten sizes once it’s struck up and settled down. I would say he’d never weld those blades together like that with a 3.2 if he didn’t have massive hz on his pulse. And his comments as to why he uses a 3.2 for everything are pretty much a load of BS IMO.
He’s a good welder but there is a big difference particularly on flat dc between a tungsten nicely carrying current and an under/overloaded tungsten.
You’ll all have your own ways. I have mine. So long as it works.
...and the cost, how much would a 1 [never mind a pack] Huntingdon Fusion Multistrike cost just be ground away
...and I’d never get the damn thing in some of the places/gaps I weld.
