i haven't but for that money you could get an esab which have a great reputation and proper back up instead of a box mover on the internet http://www.weldequip.com/esab-caddy-c160i.htm
I've had dealings with both the above mentioned brands. I had a GYS tig for about 5 years, never had a problem with it. It was kept in a not too dry shed at my old house, hung from the ceiling. I never give the storage conditions a second thought, (inverters were new to me) It was cold, damp and very dusty. I'd just switch it on and expect it to work, which it always did. When I moved house, I decided to sell it as the cost of bottle rental for the argon outweighed the amount of welding (tig) I did. Last year, I bought a Esab caddy with a view to replacing the enormous and very very old portamig that was taking up a large amount of garage space. I managed to get through the supplied 1kg of wire before it went POP! The on site repair they offer ended up with them taking it away for 2 weeks. The on - off switch is not very positive, requiring it to be pushed hard when switching on and arcs if you don't. but this seems too petty to call them out again. Now, I'm not bigging up the GYS or slagging off the esab, just passing on my experiences with both brands. And as for saving space, I now have the esab mig and my plasma sat SIDE BY SIDE on top of the 'never let me down' portamig!
