I have been considering getting another welding blanket and hopefully a good one. I do autobody work and I have 1 blanket now an older 3m blanket I paid 90 dollars for new. It seems the blanket is burning easily now if it's like 4 inches away from sparks from a roloc disk. I have been looking at something like this Tillman I found on the following Ebay page --> http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tillman-Medium-Duty-Welding-Blanket-6x8-590B-/401365750678?epid=1042205842&hash=item5d73435396:g:uisAAOSwYS9ZaSe4 <--
What would be a welding blanket that could hold up under some serious usage without failing? Yet soft enough not to abrade or scratch an automobiles finish?
Why does it seem my 3m blanket is falling apart literally? It's almost like the 3m mudhog and da pads and foam sponges who's foam disintegrate after a period of time even sitting and not even under rough or severe use.
Thank you for helping and reading about my issue.
