So, i'd really like to get the garden tidied up. Its well in need of 'something' but not quite sure what!
I dont mind a bit of work, but dont want masses and masses. and dont want to spend millions.
It has a reconstituted stone retaining wall, that has gone a bit manky over the last 30 odd years since it was built. Lots of loose uneven slabs on various levels too.
The lowest level, is mostly reallly solid slabs and poured concrete, which i'm thinking to just fill with a couple tons of slate chippings...easy. Other levels, perhaps even out into one level and repave with some new stuff.
The retaining walls, perhaps clad in timber, but theres a curved by some steps, that makes that difficult, and itll only look good for a year or two.
I thought about rendering it, but not sure. I can see myself having to paint it every year.
I dont think theres any form of damp membrane behind either, digging it out to treat the inside isnt an option, half way up seems like solid concrete, reinforcing the main boundary wall behind.
Or perhaps some coloured K-rend, any ideas on roughly how much that would be on approx 12-15m2?
A picture is worth 1000 words as they say, ill upload a pic...
