HI folks,
I am deliberating over whether to get my latest project (heavy duty utility box for quad bike) galvanised or powder coated. I have a rough price of £0.55 per KG +VAT for galvanising. Rough weight of box is 15KG. What I'm wondering is, is it going to be cheaper to get it galvanised over powdercoating?
I'm thinking that the galv will obviously be more durable and longer lasting, but would look a bit industrial. On the other hand the powder coaters I would use are half the distance nearer to me than the Galv plant.
Any thoughts/ideas welcome
